Shadow Art
This artist wanted us to help them create a wall light for shadow sculpture. We helped with conceptual design and prototyping.
Technology
We specified lighting and drew up fabrication drawings showing cable entry options and power supply locations.
The tiny, adjustable spotlights have been specifically chosen for the lens design to provide a single shadow at the right scale.
Process
We offered several concepts to gauge the clients’ expectations. Eventually a round shape was chosen to soften and simplify the required cantilever.
