We are proud to have worked on the NZ Pavilion at the World Expo. Along with the design team we designed a dynamic facade which changes in lighting layers and colour temperature alongside the mechanical and acoustic movement on the facade and exhibition space. Our design was based around the warm beating heart of NZ. We used super warm colour temperatures inside to contrast against the customised Blue-White LED technology on the facade. Not your standard approach to lighting a large atrium space, our Sun installation basks the area in warm light. Complemented by lighting to the adjacent wall, the sun effect pumps out waves of moving that sets as the day comes to a close. At five metres across we backlit a printed fabric with dynamically controlled LED chips in yellow and red pixels.

This listed building included an ornate ironwork structure. Magnetised accent lighting, mounted concealed above the capitals, was applied to the beautiful ceiling and directed lighting down to the displays. At night hidden feature lighting between the columns creates ambience for any event.
