Herne Bay Apartment
A high end apartment refurbishment in one of Auckland’s most prestigious suburbs.
Implementation
Our lighting design places emphasis onto the beautiful vertical finishes – allowing for a contrast in materials and surfaces when viewed across the spaces. In high rooms we used super narrow beam optics to provide small pools of light to the furniture to draw the eye down. In other rooms upwards light make the spaces feel bigger and brighter.
Concept
This apartment had a mix of ceiling heights which presented some challenges. Making shallow rooms feel bigger and high rooms feel more intimate was the challenge.
